En Coda Music Limited values your privacy and is committed to keeping your personal information safe and confidential.
Where necessary we collect personal information to help us deliver our wellbeing programs, communicate with participants, manage volunteers, and meet our legal and reporting obligations.
Your information will only be used for the purpose it was collected and will not be shared with anyone outside En Coda Music Limited unless:
• You give your consent, or
• We are required by law, or
• It is necessary to protect someone’s health or safety.
All information is stored securely, whether electronically or in paper form. Only authorised staff have access to it, and everyone involved with our programs is required to maintain confidentiality.
In accordance with our Constitution (clauses 95–99), access to information is restricted to individuals who require it for legitimate organisational purposes, and all officers must act in the best interests of the charity and maintain confidentiality.
Financial information, membership records, and governance records are maintained in compliance with Constitution clauses 120–121, requiring accurate recording, secure storage, and inspection only by authorised personnel (e.g., Directors, auditors).

En Coda Music Limited follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in how we handle personal information.
We also ensure compliance with ACNC Governance Standards, including ensuring responsible management of information, ethical conduct, and protecting confidential and sensitive data as part of our governance responsibilities.
Any disclosures of information to third parties—such as auditors, regulatory agencies or legal advisers—occur only where required under the Constitution, the Corporations Act, ACNC Act, or other applicable laws.
Fundraising and Donations Statement
At En Coda Music Limited, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to deliver music programs that promote health and wellbeing.

Ethical Fundraising: All fundraising is conducted honestly, transparently, and respectfully.
This includes ensuring that all representations made to donors are accurate, not misleading, and aligned with our charitable purpose under Constitution clauses 2–3. -
Use of Donations: Donations are used solely to support our charitable programs.
In accordance with Constitution clauses 11–12, all funds are applied exclusively toward advancing our charitable purpose and never distributed to members or directors. -
Receipts: Tax-deductible donations are acknowledged with receipts for your records.
Where applicable, gifts are processed through the En Coda Music Gift Fund (Constitution clauses 20–22), and receipts are issued in the name of the Gift Fund in compliance with ATO requirements. -
Privacy: Donor information is kept confidential and secure.
Personal information is protected under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles, and our internal confidentiality obligations (Constitution clause 95 regarding responsible conduct of officers).

All complaints related to fundraising will be reviewed promptly and may be escalated to the Board or Company Secretary where necessary.
We comply with the ACNC Governance Standards and all relevant Australian laws for fundraising and donations.
This includes ensuring that:

all donations are recorded and accounted for accurately (Constitution clauses 120–121),

any surplus assets or gift funds are transferred to an equivalent charity if required by law or upon winding up (Constitution clauses 130–136),

fundraising activities uphold the charity’s reputation and purpose as required under Governance Standard 5 (Duties of Responsible Persons).
