Guided by a strong charitable purpose and a commitment to artistic excellence, our leadership team brings together expertise in governance, orchestral performance, sound therapy, and creative direction.

Tenille Bentley – Board Director & Founder / Creative Director
An award-winning sound therapist, creator, and global wellbeing innovator, Tenille is the visionary behind En Coda’s world-first therapeutic orchestral experiences. She leads the artistic direction and research partnerships, bringing together ancient sound practices, neuroscience, and modern composition.
Mark Coughlan – Board Director & Musical Director
A distinguished conductor, pianist, and leader within Australia’s classical music community, Mark brings decades of experience in orchestral direction, arts governance, and cultural advocacy. His leadership bridges classical tradition with innovative therapeutic sound practices.
Gilly Gammell – Board Director & Strategy
With a strong background in arts, culture, and organisational leadership, Gillian contributes deep governance insight and national arts-sector expertise, strengthening En Coda’s strategic pathways and community partnerships.


Tenille Bentley
CREATIVE DIRECTOR/FOUNDER AND BOARD DIRECTOR - EN CODA MUSIC LIMITED
Tenille Bentley is the founder and creative director of the internationally award-winning En Coda Symphony Orchestra 432 Hz, co-producer of the documentary Does Sound Heal and En Coda 432 Hz The Film.
Her musical body of work has been recognised by the International Sound Awards in Prague, International Sound Future Awards in New York, Munich Music Awards and Euro Music Awards and used in therapeutic clinics for patients with trauma, anxiety and PTSD.
Tenille’s collective works have reached the global stages in unique art projects at Nuit Blanche Paris – Museum of Modern Art of Paris & The Palais de Tokyo Museum Square and Techism Exhibitions in Florida as it continues to make its way around the globe.
Her therapeutic music is influenced by the fusion of ancient sound traditions, classical music and modern lyrical structures, presenting a deep listening musical experience that leaves her audiences feeling transformed with the effect said to be lasting for weeks beyond the sessions.
Tenille transitioned from an illustrious business career receiving awards recognised by the Prime Minister such as The Australian Leadership Award and her being selected by The Australian Financial Review as one of the top 100 Women of Influence. The Governor inducted her into the Western Australian Women's Hall of Fame, and she became a finalist in the Telstra Business Woman of the Year.
She was also one of the top 3 in the Australian Institute of Management Excellence Awards. This was in recognition for her contribution to the community.
During Tenille’s business career she has sat on some of Australia's most prestigious boards as a non-executive director, advising and governing multi- million-dollar organsations.

Mark Coughlan
MUSIC DIRECTOR AND BOARD DIRECTOR - EN CODA MUSIC LIMITED
Mark is a major figure in the cultural life of Western Australia. He is a pianist, conductor, artistic director and gallery owner.
He grew up in Perth and studied music at the University of Western Australia before moving to London where he lived and worked for several years.
He returned to Australia to become Head of the Music Faculty at UWA and since this time has held leadership roles at state and national levels in the performing arts and higher education sectors. Mark is a former board member and CEO of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, a music writer for The Australian newspaper and a judge for the national performing arts awards, The Helpmanns.
Mark is the founder and director of The Orangery Gallery, a restored arts space showcasing local artists and musicians. In addition to his work in the arts sector.
Mark has a long-standing interest in health and wellbeing and for 13 years owned and operated a medical centre providing a range of health services. Mark is a three-time finalist for West Australian of the Year in the Arts and Culture category.
